How to receive assistance

To receive food from the Kewanee Food Pantry, your household must meet income levels set by the State of Illinois. People at or below 300% of the Federal Poverty Level may receive help. Qualification depends on household size and monthly income. Please refer to the chart below.

Do You Qualify?

Illinois Department of Human Services has established FY2027 eligibility

based on how many are in the household and monthly income.

see if your household meets the

DHS income guidelines.

First Visit - Sign Up

If you would like to sign up or haven't used our service in a long time, we are here to help. We will confirm residency and need to know the number of people in your household and how many of them are under the age of 18.

Follow Up Visits

Our food pantry was established

visit once per month.
