How to receive assistance

In order to receive food from the Kewanee Food Pantry, you must be a Kewanee resident and your household must meet income levels set by the State of Illinois. People at or below 300% of the Federal Poverty Level may receive help. Qualification depends on household size and monthly income.

based on how many are in the household and monthly income.

Please refer to the table below to

see if your household meets the

DHS income guidelines.

First Visit - Sign Up

For your first visit with us to sign up, you MUST bring your photo ID and a piece of mail which both show you reside in the 61443 zip code.

You will also need to provide us

with the name of each

person in your household.

Follow Up Visits

Once you have signed up, your household may visit the food pantry once a month. You MUST bring your photo ID in for each visit in order to receive food. This is a requirement set forth by the State of Illinois.
